MALLAM KABIRU MOHAMMED BADAU

Kabiru Mohammed Badau who is the Director, Examination Administration was born in 1963 at Kwatau in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State. He attended Primary Education in Kwatau Primary School from 1968 to 1974, Secondary Education in Government Secondary School Uba from 1974 to 1979, University undergraduate education in University of Maiduguri from 1981 to 1985, post graduate studies from 1990 to 1993 in University of Maiduguri and another post-masters diploma in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria from 1995-1996.

Mallam Badau holds Masters in Education (M.Ed) in Educational Planning and Administration (1993), post master diploma in management of Development (UNDP), (1996), Bachelor of Arts Education in History and Political Science (1985), West African School Certificate in 1979 and First School Leaving Certificate in 1974. Member Association of Educational Planning and Administration in 1985 and Teachers Registration Council in 2006.

His working experience started with Gombi Local Government as a livestock Assistant in 1979, National Youth Service Corps as a Lecturer in Zungeru College of Advance Studies Niger State, 1985 – 1986, Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Boards as a teacher from 1987 to 1991, posted to Adamawa State Ministry of Education as a Senior Education Officer (Projects) in 1992, Principal Education Officer (Projects) in 1995, Assistant Chief Education Officer (Projects) and Assistant Secretary Tenders Board 1998, chief Education Officer (Examinations) (2000), Assistant Director (Examinations) and Secretary tenders Board (2002 and rose to the rank of Acting Director (Examinations) in 2005. he was a United Nations Development Programme consultant on four modules of development (UNDP) UNICEF, education Trust Fund (ETF), Education for All (EFA), SEEDS, ESA, UBE Desk Officer.

Mallam Badau is married with three (3) children. He enjoys Reading, Table Tennis and Swimming.

MR. FELIX NWAIKU OKIGALA
(MBA, FCA)

Born on the 12th of March 1956 at Agbor in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Felix Nwaiku Okigala hails from Ugiliamai Onicha-Ukwuani in Ndokwa West Local Government of Delta State. He began his educational pursuit at the NBC Day School, Agbor, 1963–1968 and proceeded to Ika Grammar School, Agbor both in Delta State between 1970 –74.
Determined to attain greater heights, the young Okigala gained admission to the popular Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu, 1976 – 1980 and the much sought after University of Benin, Benin City, 1991 – 1994.

A Chartered Accountant with enviable track records, Mr. Felix Okigala has served in several reputable government agencies and parastatals. Notable among these are, the University of Benin, Benin City, (1986-1993) where at different times, he was the University Bookshop Accountant, the University Consultancy Services Unit Accountant and Accountant in the Bursary Department; the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) 1993 – 2002 and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) 2002 – 2006.

Significant among positions previously held by the seasoned Accountant in the public domain are: Chief Accountant and Head Finance & Supplies Department, NABTEB (1999 – 2002) and Head of Finance & Accounts (Bursar), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) 2002 – 2006.

Similarly, Mr. Okigala has been nominated and appointed to various positions of trust as a result of his absolute commitment and devotion to duty. Notable among these are: Member, Federal Government Committee on the Review of Accounting Manual for Federal Universities 2005 – 2006; Member, Governing Council, Lighthouse Polytechnic, Benin (2008 to date) and Member, Fund Mobilization Committee, ICAN and Benin District Society, Benin City (2008 to date).
Obviously impressed with his open door policy, transparency and accountability, members of the NABTEB Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited unanimously elected him for 2 years consecutively as President of the Society from 2008.

Mr. Felix Nwaiku Okigala who rose from the cradle to the enviable position of “Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA)” became the Acting Director of Finance & Accounts, NABTEB in October, 2009.
He is happily married with children.
